I imagine that a major benefit of Saunaing comes from lowering your blood pressure by sweating. The same thing a diuretic does, but more naturally. I’d like to see a study that isolates this effect. You’d look at the longevity benefits of sauna on people with moderate hypertension, vs the effects on people who already have healthy blood pressure. I suspect mainly the former group benefits.
