Agree 100%. With two additions: If everybody lived in a city with the density of Paris, then all of humanity would fit in Texas. (Not that everybody would want to live in Texas, but that’s not really my point).

Secondly: Nature is robust. If given a chance, it recovers rather quickly. My case in point: Tchernobyl. Just by getting out of the damn way, bears, birds, all kinds of wonderful wild animals are thriving in the “catastrophy” zone, after just 30 years.
